Grundfos Egypt is urgently hiring for a talented and motivated sales professional to join the team. As Sales Engineer for Industry segment, you will be responsible for driving sales and growing a strong relationship with defined Customers in the Industry Segment predominantly in Alexandria region of Egypt. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing new sales opportunities as well as maintaining recurring business with existing customers.

What is the job about?

As sales engineer, you must be well aware of the development in the market and at the customers and the knowledge must be shared within the team and across performance units to strengthen the Grundfos Business result and market share.

You will be part of a team of role with an ambition of driving sales and you must participate and drive trainings for customers and potential new customers to drive awareness of Grundfos offerings.

Other responsibilities include the following activities:

Independently develop and grow sales within own area of responsibility.

Develop market knowledge to successfully drive commercial activities.

Develop knowledge in the market on Grundfos solutions – explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the customers organization.

Identify different stakeholders (decision makers)  and utilize the right approach to drive sales.

Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and strong hit rate.

Introduce new product and solutions to the customers.

Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area.

Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.

Review substantial quotations and project bids.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring one Company Culture.

Other ad-hoc tasks or project as and when required

What do you need to apply?

  • To be considered for this position you should fulfill the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering preferred)
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience as sales or service engineer
  • Valid driving license
  • Relevant industry and technical experience from an international company working in a similar role is preferred
  • Experience in energy optimization or water treatment or industrial cooling is good to have
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to understand requirements and negotiate solutions with stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel around the Alexandria region
