Metito is looking for an Industrial Manager to handle their chemicals business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for sales, business development, and technical services for specialty process chemicals and technologies targeting the water treatment and process chemical industries.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and promote a strategy for business growth and customer care
  • Drive tender process and strategy to secure project awards for Metito in KSA Set and meet aggressive sales growth targets
  • Lead the sales and service personal for industrial water treatment across KSA
  • Support all technical and commercial aspects regarding performance specifications and profitability
  • Ability to pull company resources in order to achieve targets
  • Work with respective managers and their teams to support the development and growth of a sustainable and profitable business via exploring short, mid, and long-term opportunities
  • Build and maintain professional and effective relationships with customers and key stakeholders at different levels
  • Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve safety culture
  • Ensure effective resource planning and hiring the right sales and service team
  • Work as part of a bigger team but able to lead and take full responsibility for projects in the assigned geographic area
  • Maintain Sales Pyramid for tracking status of opportunities and assess and prioritize opportunities and potentials, and reporting on progress on a monthly basis

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, chemical, or an engineering discipline. Associate degree preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in water treatment, petrochemical, and speciality chemicals
  • Experience within national oil companies – a mandate
  • Business acumen and experience in relevant commercial considerations relevant to industrial projects
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, thereby ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure

  • Self-starter takes ownership of workload and able to take decisions independently based on policy and customer needs
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Good networking and negotiation skills
